The City of Alameda is a unique 10.6 square-mile island community located in the heart of the San Francisco Bay. The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda is seeking a forward-thinking, detail-oriented professional to serve as its next Procurement and Administrative Services Manager. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement, along with the leadership skills to mentor and develop staff and strengthen administrative operations. Experience with Yardi is essential, as is proficiency in Euna Procurement or a similar procurement platform. Any combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify a candidate. A typical qualifying background includes:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, with major coursework in business administration, public administration, contract management, finance, accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree or equivalent is strongly desirable.
• Four years of procurement experience in a public agency or government setting, including at least one year of supervisory experience. Two years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Experience in the housing field is strongly desirable. Knowledge of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements, affordable housing, and/or construction procurement is preferred. The annual salary range for the Procurement and Administrative Services Manager is $161,632 – $196,459; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
