Location: Cincinnati, OH (Remote)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Principal Python & Databricks Engineer to join the Enterprise Data Platform Services team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS), Databricks, PySpark, data pipelines, and data/file movement.


Primary Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and OOPS concepts.
  • Experience with Databricks and PySpark.
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration.
  • Experience with data ingestion, data movement, and file transfer mechanisms.
  • Strong SQL and database knowledge.


Technical Skills:

  • Python, FastAPI, REST APIs.
  • Microsoft Azure (AKS, Function Apps, Service Bus).
  • Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Event-driven architecture and Domain-Driven Design.
  • Pytest, Unit Testing, Git, CI/CD.
  • Experience with production support, debugging, and performance optimization.
