Environmental Services Manager

Job Description

Mt. View Sanitary District (MVSD) is seeking an experienced, hands-on environmental professional to serve as its next Environmental Services Manager. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the District’s environmental programs, modernize laboratory operations and champion vital local assets like Moorhen and McNabney Marsh. 

Reporting to the General Manager, the Environmental Services Manager will oversee the full scope of environmental compliance, regulatory reporting, laboratory QA/QC and interagency relations. The Manager will also play an important role in mentoring technical staff and advancing an organizational culture centered on accountability, collaboration and environmental stewardship. 

This role is well suited for an approachable leader who brings a strong technical background and is ready to drive operational stability. The ideal candidate will bring sound judgment and initiative to modernize systems as the District continues to evolve. Learn more in the recruitment brochure.
