Poly Fusion Technician

Job Description

Our client is a growing piping solutions company, and they're looking to add multiple experienced Poly Fusion Technicians to their team! This is a hands-on field position supporting customer projects across Texas, New Mexico, and other locations throughout the United States.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong HDPE/PE pipe fusion experience who enjoys traveling to different job sites, working alongside field crews, and earning additional income through available overtime.

What You'll Do

• Perform HDPE/PE pipe fusion, including butt fusion, electrofusion, and saddle fusion
• Set up and operate pipe fusion equipment to meet project specifications
• Prepare, align, fuse, and inspect pipe and fittings to ensure quality connections
• Operate fusion machines, with McElroy equipment experience preferred
• Complete fusion logs, quality records, and required project documentation
• Work alongside field crews to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and quality standards

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of hands-on HDPE/PE pipe fusion experience
• Strong knowledge of butt fusion procedures and equipment operation
• Experience preparing and inspecting fused pipe joints
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors and travel as project needs require
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with McElroy fusion equipment, including TracStar, MegaMc, or Pit Bull machines
• Background in utility construction, pipeline installation, water transfer, or industrial piping
• Experience maintaining fusion documentation and following project specifications
