Summary

Job Description:

A Flex Security Officer is employed on an as-needed basis to assist with staffing shortages, call-offs, vacations, special events, new contracts, emergency coverage, and other operational needs. A flex position does not include a guaranteed work schedule or minimum number of hours. Vanguard Security is not offering a permanent post, regular schedule, or guaranteed weekly hours through this position. Work assignments are based solely on operational needs, client requirements, employee qualifications, licensing, availability, and company discretion. Acceptance of a Flex position does not create any promise or expectation of future assignments or permanent employment at any specific location or site.

Job Requirements:

• Valid TN Armed Guard License

• Valid Drivers License

• Must have all equipment (weapon qualified with the state, outside lockable waist holster, 3 magazines for weapon, a magazine holder for the two additional mags, and weapon should always be loaded with hollow point bullets while on duty)

Nice to have:

• Active Shooter certification

• Dallas Law certification

Benefits:
