  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify ambiguous or difficult-to-classify vessels
  • Ability to clearly document classification decisions and explain the reasoning behind them
  • Willingness to challenge existing classifications, category definitions, or assumptions when the imagery does not support them
  • Strong written communication and analytical skills

Strong Plus:

  • Previous experience with naval intelligence, Coast Guard intelligence, or military imagery analysis
  • Experience supporting Navy, ONI, NMIC, NGA, or other maritime intelligence missions
  • Professional maritime experience, including deck watch, watchstanding, or vessel operations

  • Experience with maritime domain awareness or vessel tracking
  • Experience with imagery datasets, annotation, quality control, or data adjudication
  • Experience reviewing or validating AI/ML model outputs or computer vision classifications
  • Experience working with AI/ML teams or technology companies
  • Experience with ArcGIS or other geospatial analysis tools

Package:

  • Full remote
  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
  • Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge maritime technology platform
  • Work directly with a technical team building and improving maritime AI capabilities
