Summary

Structural Project Manager/ Structural Superintendent

We are partnering with a rapidly expanding, highly successful construction organization delivering some of the most ambitious hyperscale data-center developments across the United States.

With multiple major greenfield and brownfield developments already underway and a substantial pipeline of future projects, the business is experiencing exceptional growth, creating genuine long-term career opportunities for construction professionals looking to be part of something significant.

As part of this continued expansion, we are recruiting both a Structural Project Manager and Structural Superintendent for a new 100MW+ greenfield hyperscale data-center campus in Mobile, Alabama.

This is an opportunity to join a well-backed, fast-growing organization at an exciting stage of its development, take ownership of major structural construction packages from the ground up, and position yourself for future progression across a growing national portfolio of landmark projects.

The Project

The development is a large-scale, ground-up data-center campus currently moving through early construction and mobilization.

Initial flexibility may be available while site infrastructure is established, but these positions will ultimately become fully site-based in Mobile, Alabama.

National candidates are encouraged to apply, particularly those accustomed to major project, traveling-construction or mission-critical environments.

Structural Project Manager

We are looking for GC / CM-side Project Managers capable of owning major structural scopes including:

  • Structural steel and steel erection
  • Concrete and foundations
  • Major structural subcontract packages
  • Procurement and subcontractor buyout
  • Budgeting, forecasting and cost control
  • RFIs, submittals and change management
  • Schedule and milestone management
  • QA/QC and inspection coordination
  • Coordination with civil, MEP and other construction disciplines
  • Client and stakeholder communication

Candidates should have experience taking structural packages through procurement, construction, erection and closeout rather than purely design or engineering experience.

Structural Superintendent

We are also hiring experienced field leaders with strong structural construction backgrounds, including:

  • Structural steel erection
  • Concrete and foundations
  • Building erection and sequencing
  • Structural subcontractor coordination
  • Daily field planning and schedule execution
  • Safety and quality management
  • Inspections and QA/QC
  • Coordination between structural, civil and MEP trades
  • Large-project field delivery

You should be comfortable taking ownership of structural activity in the field and driving subcontractors against schedule, quality and safety expectations.

Ideal Background

Strong candidates will typically come from a General Contractor, Construction Manager or major contractor environment and have delivered structural packages on projects such as:

  • Data centers
  • Mission-critical facilities
  • Advanced manufacturing
  • Major industrial developments
  • Large commercial or institutional builds
  • Other complex, large-scale construction programs

Direct data-center experience is highly desirable, but strong large-project structural construction experience will also be considered.

For candidates coming primarily from civil/sitework backgrounds, significant building erection, structural steel and structural package experience will need to be demonstrated.

Compensation

Project Manager base salaries are generally expected in the $150,000–$190,000 range, depending on experience.

Senior Superintendent compensation can also reach the upper end of this range for particularly strong candidates.

A project/travel package and benefits are available, with final details dependent on the individual appointment.

If you have strong GC-side structural construction experience and would be interested in joining a major hyperscale project from the ground up, please apply for a confidential discussion.
