PCCA also owns cotton warehouse facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. In addition to cotton marketing and warehousing services, PCCA provides innovative technology solutions to gins that help add more value to our grower-owners' cotton.POSITION PURPOSEThe primary responsibility of this role is to provide after-hours fire watch and security patrols for the facility's warehouses and premises. The role ensures safety by monitoring for signs of fire, smoke, or other unusual or unlawful activity, and promptly reporting any issues.WHAT YOU WILL DOConduct routine patrols of warehouses and facility grounds, monitoring for signs of fire, smoke, or hazardous conditions.Monitor fire protection systems and immediately report any system status changes to supervisors.Follow all company safety and fire safety policies and procedures at all times.Report any suspicious, illegal, or dangerous activities to supervisors and local authorities as needed.Perform pre-shift inspections of assigned night watch vehicles, when available, and report any damage or malfunction per company protocols.Operate company or personal vehicles safely and in compliance with internal policies.Use handheld devices to complete night watch documentation and communication duties.If using a personal vehicle for job duties, mileage will be reimbursed based on the current Federal Standard Mileage Rate.REQUIREMENTSValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as neededStrong attention to detail and situational awarenessAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionComfortable working in low-light or nighttime conditionsCapable of walking or standing for extended periodsPrevious security, safety, or fire watch experience a plusMust pass background check and drug screeningPCCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
