Summary

Job Title: Strategic Account Executive

Location: Chicago, IL

Pay: $150,000 - 170,000

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales
  • Experience selling into large manufacturing organizations required
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Experience selling to and working directly with C-suite and executive-level decision-makers
  • Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to identify and develop high-value opportunities
  • Highly organized with strong pipeline management and forecasting skills
  • Comfortable operating independently and taking ownership in a remote environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time for customer meetings
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented


Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and develop relationships with strategic accounts within the manufacturing industry
  • Develop and execute account strategies designed to expand market penetration and generate new business
  • Manage complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through close
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers
  • Partner with finance, product, and internal leadership teams to align solutions with customer objectives
  • Spend approximately 50% of your time meeting with customers in person to understand business needs and build long-term relationships
  • Dedicate approximately 30% of your time to prospecting and developing new business opportunities
  • Develop customized proposals, presentations, and business cases based on customer needs
  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships within existing accounts
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasts, and account plans
  • Operate independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with internal teams
