Summary

As a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer - Technology Transfer, you apply mechanical engineering and intelligence tradecraft to assess U.S. export license applications, technology transfer risks, and foreign investments. You conduct all-source research on emerging and disruptive technologies, maintain intelligence databases, and prepare written reports and briefings for defense and intelligence stakeholders. The role requires on-site work in secure facilities and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze export license applications and technology transfer risks using mechanical engineering and intelligence expertise
  • Conduct all-source S&TI research on emerging and disruptive foreign military technologies
  • Support foreign investment and end-user assessments related to sensitive U.
  • S. technologies
  • Develop and apply complex analytical methods where data is incomplete or conflicting
  • Maintain and update intelligence databases and knowledge repositories
  • Write and brief clear, well-supported intelligence assessments to IC and Do
  • D stakeholders
  • Synthesize and interpret large volumes of technical and textual intelligence data
  • Perform other related duties supporting defense technology transfer analysis
