Part-Time Corrections Officer

According to appointment and promotion procedures now in effect all vacancies in the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office will be open for a period of at least 7 working days to eligible persons. It is the intent of St Clair County to fill vacancies only with persons with the most potential for success. It is the responsibility of the applicant to submit his or her completed application at www.stclairco.com or in person to the Human Resources Clerk Allee Slaten by the deadline listed in this notice. Must be high school graduate or equivalent

Must be available to work rotating shifts

Must have a valid State of Alabama Driver License

Must have transportation available for assigned shift

Must have the ability to type accurately

Preference will be given to individuals with previous law enforcement, fire or EMS dispatch experience or generally related experience. This is a safety sensitive position under our Alabama Drug Free Workplace Program and will be subject to pre-employment drug testing.
