Summary
TechOp Solutions is seeking an experienced FOIA Analyst to process moderately complex to complex FOIA requests and support disclosure reviews, appeals, litigation matters, records redaction, correspondence preparation, and quality assurance activities.Duties:Review and process new, open, routine, complex, and backlogged FOIA requests.Determine whether records are responsive to assigned requests.Analyze records and recommend the appropriate application of FOIA and Privacy Act exemptions.Prepare records for release by applying redactions.Draft correspondence to requesters and coordinate with records custodians to clarify scope, search terms, and disclosure concerns.Support FOIA appeals and litigation by organizing case files, reviewing records, and preparing supporting documentation.Use case-management, eDiscovery, SharePoint, Box, and other approved systems.Record case actions, correspondence, determinations, and supporting documentation accurately in the designated tracking system.Prepare document indices, status reports, disclosure analyses, and case-closure documentation.
