To support the Ob/Gyn Department, the remote Certified Coding Specialist I/II/III will review medical documentation to assign and sequence CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10CM codes, and modifiers for inpatient/outpatient encounters, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and departmental procedures.Key responsibilitiesReview and resolve coding edits in the work queue in a timely mannerAccurately assign and sequence codes while ensuring compliance with applicable guidelinesPerform charge entry for professional services and maintain coding quality and productivity standardsRequired qualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required2 years of related coding experience requiredTexas Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hireKnowledge of ICD-10 CM and CPT coding conventionsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to maintain a database
