Job Description Responsible for performing surveillance duties to ensure company, state, and federal gaming laws and policies and procedures are being maintained in games, slots, cashiers, and soft count rooms.Job Description Responsible for performing surveillance duties to ensure company, state, and federal gaming laws and policies and procedures are being maintained in games, slots, cashiers, and soft count rooms.Responsibilities Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and/or thefts for property.Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions.Participates in court actions relating to gaming violations.Learns and uses two card count system.Learns all games in use at property and all procedures and cheating indicators of such games.Writes proper reports as needed in a timely manner.Responds to surveillance supervision and gaming control requests.Responds to requests of all other departments when necessary.Ensures that all company and departmental procedures are followed.Presents oneself as a credit to Company and encourages others to do the same.Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.Maintains the flexibility to work at the sister property in the same city as needed.Qualifications High School education or equivalentAdditional Requirements Good oral and written communication skills including tact with all levels of Team Members; must be fluent and literate in English as well as ability to read/write concise, factual reports.Ability to perform basic mathematical and computer functions.Knowledge or ability to learn different table games.Ability to observe and identify suspected cheaters and cheating techniquesMust be able to have 20/20 corrected vision.Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas.Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.May be called to work on the casino floor and may be subject to varying levels of noise, smoke, and crowds, the severity of which depends on customer volume.Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 20 lbs., and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack.Must be willing and able to work at a desk for extended periods.About Us Harrah's Council Bluffs, Horseshoe Council Bluffs, the Mid-America Center, and the Hilton Garden Inn, all part of Caesars Entertainment's expansive portfolio, are looking to bring the best talent from around the area to the Empire.
