Summary

The Cleveland Heights PD will be accepting applications for lateral transfer .The lateral transfer process will include an oral interview, thorough background investigation, voice stress analysis, psychological evaluation, medical evaluation to include drug screen and any other method necessary to ascertain the qualifications and abilities of the applicant. There will not be a written or physical agility test.If you cannot meet all the minimum qualifications below, do not submit an application.Minimum requirements Must be at least 21 years of age and no more than 40 years of age at the time of applyingMust be a US or naturalized citizenPossess valid and current OPOTA certificationValid Ohio driver's license and acceptable driving recordAt least one year as full-time civil service police officer with no more than one year of separation of employmentMust pass the Ohio Police and Fire Pension medical examinationComprehensive Benefits Signing Bonus of $5,000; $2,500.00 to be paid at time of hire, $2,500.00 to be paid upon 1 year of employment.Salary based on experience ranging between $82,013.77-$93,051.48.
