To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Outpatient Cath Coding Specialist will work remotely, providing CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for various specialties while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining high accuracy rates.Key responsibilities:Provide coding services for outpatient Cath/IVR cases, ensuring accurate application of diagnosis and procedure codesInterpret coding guidelines and maintain compliance with ethical standards and company policiesParticipate in ongoing training and maintain productivity and quality scores of 95% or higherRequired qualifications:Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatoryMinimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience is requiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessaryWorking knowledge of EMR and billing systems is essentialMust have a reliable internet connection and access to current coding materials
