You will join a team dedicated to bringing Apollo to market at scale, tackling the complex challenges like safety, commercialization, and mass production to change the world for the better.Job SummaryWe're looking for a detail-oriented ECAD Librarian to own and grow our Altium component library, ensuring every schematic symbol, PCB footprint, and 3D model is accurate, standardized, and manufacturable. In this role, you will partner closely with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to keep the library current, enforce design and naming standards, and make sure components meet IPC and DFM best practices before they ever reach a board. You will be the single source of truth for component data across our design organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESLibrary Ownership: Create, validate, and maintain schematic symbols, PCB footprints, pad stacks, and 3D models in Altium. Ensure every component is built to supplier datasheet and manufacturer DFM standards with correct parameters, metadata, and revision history.Standards & Compliance: Apply IPC-7351 land pattern standards, JEDEC package standards, and internal design rules to all new and revised components. Confirm footprints and land patterns support design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) requirements before release.Process & Governance: Define and maintain naming conventions, component templates, parameter schemas, lifecycle states, and part-request workflows. Own the part introduction/approval process and library audits to catch and correct errors or duplicates.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with design engineers, supply chain, and contract manufacturers to source accurate technical data, resolve part conflicts, and support board bring-up and DFM/DFA reviews.Tooling & Automation: Maintain integration between the ECAD library and PLM systems.
