Clallam County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Sheriff's Deputy. This position is regular full-time and is located at the Clallam County Courthouse in Washington.

Salary: $88,883.04 - $104,008.08 Annually

Summary: This position requires a successful completion of the Washington State Basic Law Enforcement Academy or equivalent, no separation from law enforcement exceeding five years, completion of a Field Training program, ability to perform essential mental and physical demands, solid writing skills, U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status, valid driver's license, no prior felony convictions or recent drug usage history, and passing a Physical Abilities Test.

Typical work includes patrolling designated areas, performing on-scene investigations, aiding persons in trouble, enforcing traffic and parking ordinances, operating radar units, checking vehicle identifications, issuing citations, serving warrants, completing reports, serving civil processes, responding to crime reports, locating and interviewing victims and witnesses, gathering evidence, preparing case files, receiving firearms training, and testifying in court.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or G.E.D., minimum age of 21, ability to obtain a Washington State Driver's license, meeting Clallam County Civil Service Pre-Employment Screening Standards, passing a background investigation, meeting physical standards, and eligibility for benefits and overtime.
