We strive to break the cycle of homelessness with personalized, wraparound support, empowering individuals and families to rebuild their lives with stability, dignity, and hope.Qualifications (education, professional certifications or licenses, experience, proficiencies)Two years related experienceProficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferredProficiency in modern business communications including personal computers, electronic mail, voicemail, facsimile and copier equipmentHigh school diploma or equivalent credentials required; Associate degree preferred.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage daily logs and reports, including petty cash, metro cards and banking cardsManage and complete all office supply/equipment needsCollect all necessary proof of purchases, receipts, for supplies, petty cash and purchasesReceive and maintain all office supplies, equipment and IT ordersManage the phones, emails, mail and general inquires as to the programManage, assist and direct all walk-in clientsAssist with preparing for meetings, prepping agendas and training materialsDocument progress notes for all encounters and services provided to clientsParticipate in regular meetings and trainings with supervisor and other support staffPerform additional duties as assignedProgram Specific ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain logs and sign in sheets for all parts of the Representative Payee service, Metro Card services and use of Petty CashManage the Representative Payee portfolio of clients, completing all needed transfers of accounts and documentation for internal and external Representative payee auditsMaintain and ensure accuracy of records and documentation of all client interactionsCollaborate with CQI staff, case management and clinical staff to support program needsSupport CQI staff with audit preparation and audit reportingSkills/AbilitiesStrong writing and oral communication skillsStrong presentation skills and ability to represent the agency at functions and meetingsAbility to collect and analyze client demographics and outcomeExcellent organizational and teambuilding skillsAbility to use a computer for prolonged periodsAbility to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 poundsAbility to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of timeAbility to climb five flights of stairs, if required to conduct home visits and/or fieldworkAbility to bend and retrieve objects and/or documentsAbility to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportationAbility to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field workBronxWorks is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive workplace.
