Job Description

We are seeking a Watch Officer (CWO). The Watch Officer reports to the Command Center Operations Lead and provides day-to-day oversight of 125+ personnel across 24x7 command center crews and globally dispersed assets. Responsibilities include monitoring enterprise health and status; overseeing O&M, network monitoring, and network defense; and making real-time operations-floor decisions to ensure availability, quality, and security of mission systems, C2, and information sharing.

The Watch Officer maintains accurate reporting, keeps leadership informed, recommends courses of action, and tracks system status at all times. Additional duties include maintaining operations floor integrity, ensuring crews are trained/certified and shifts are properly manned, conducting changeover briefs, directing network troubleshooting and cyber defensive operations, and coordinating with the Global Shift Lead and government leadership.

PR: 75-90/hr DOE

Skills and Requirements

  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI and indoctrination into a program higher than Secret

  • Strong communication and briefing skills for senior leaders

  • Project, planning, and resource management experience

  • Experience leading personnel in operations/maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems

  • Knowledge of enterprise networks, systems, and cyber defense

  • Ability to brief technical issues using Visio and PowerPoint

  • Experience developing TTPs and/or Operating Instructions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Active TS/SCI

  • Experience liaising with DoD agencies and related operations

  • Experience with U.S. Space Force, USSTRATCOM, or the space domain
