Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Exercises, Experimentation, and Wargaming Analyst to support Army modernization and future-force development initiatives. This individual will help plan, coordinate, and execute Army and Joint exercises, experimentation events, wargames, Soldier Touchpoints, and other Campaign of Learning activities.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between military organizations, helping translate learning objectives and experimentation requirements into executable plans, resource requests, orders, and event support actions. This role requires strong operational planning experience, the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and a deep understanding of Army force sourcing, training, and modernization processes.

Skills and Requirements

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility preferred

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience supporting:

Army or Joint exercises

Experimentation activities

Wargaming programs

Operational planning

Training operations

Capability development initiatives

Experience developing and staffing:

Operations Orders (OPORDs)

Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs)

Executive Orders (EXORDs)

Support requests and event execution documents

Experience coordinating personnel, unit participation, resources, and logistics for large-scale military events

Knowledge of:

Army sourcing processes

Exercise planning and governance

Experimentation planning

Senior leader synchronization forums

Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans, trackers, schedules, and leadership updates

Experience managing multiple stakeholders and coordinating efforts across Army commands and organizations

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience creating executive briefings, status updates, and decision-support products

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams Prior experience as:

Army G-3/5/7 staff member

Exercise Planner

Training Officer

Experimentation Officer or NCO

Force Sourcing Analyst

Operations Officer

Experience supporting:

Army Futures Command (AFC)

Futures and Concepts Center (FCC)

TRADOC/T2COM

Joint training and exercise organizations

Experience with:

Project Convergence

Army Capstone Events

Soldier Touchpoints

Army Sourcing Requirements Conference (ASRC)

Army Sourcing Processes (ASP/ASRP)

Joint training and exercise forums

JDXA funding activities

Experience developing:

Dashboards

Metrics reporting

Readiness tracking tools

Data analytics products

Experience analyzing event readiness, resource allocation, sourcing priorities, or experimentation outcomes
