The Campbell Police Department is seeking experienced California law enforcement professionals to join our team as *Lateral Police Officers*. If you're looking for a department that values service, integrity, fairness, and community partnerships, we invite you to take the next step in your career.
*Salary:* Up to *$175,889 annually*\*
\*Maximum compensation includes eligible incentive pays, including Advanced POST Certificate, Crisis Intervention Training (CIT), holiday in-lieu pay, and specialty assignment incentives.

*What You'll Do*
As a sworn Police Officer, you will:
* Enforce Federal, State, and local laws and ordinances.
* Patrol by vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle, or on foot.
* Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
* Investigate crimes and traffic collisions.
* Protect life and property.
* Make arrests and testify in court.
* Prepare accurate reports and maintain department equipment.
* Build strong community relationships through proactive policing and crime prevention.
* Work collaboratively with City departments to provide exceptional public service.
*Minimum Qualifications*
* Completion of 60 semester units (90 quarter units) from an accredited college or university.
* Graduation from a California POST-approved Basic Police Academy.
* Valid California Driver's License.
* Current California POST certification.
* CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
* Legally authorized to work in the United States.
* Ability to meet City of Campbell medical, vision, physical fitness, and background standards.
