Your JobOptimized Process Design (OPD), a Koch company, is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to support procurement and project execution activities for civil and structural materials. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, processing purchase orders, supporting field personnel, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure projects receive the right materials at the right time.This role will sit in office in Katy, TX Monday - Friday.This role is not open to Visa sponsorship.Our TeamYou will join a collaborative sourcing and procurement team that supports engineering, construction, and field operations across multiple projects. OPDs industry experience, flexibility, and dedication to employee development has created a tight knit, highly productive, team atmosphere that makes OPD a fulfilling place to work.What You Will DoSource civil and structural materials in support of project requirements and schedules.Review material specifications, vendor quotations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies prior to order releasedCoordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery commitments.Create, review, and process purchase orders, ensuring accurate pricing, quantities, delivery terms, supporting documentation, and compliance with company policies and project requirements.Support field personnel, project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders by responding to procurement needs and resolving sourcing and material issuesBuild and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Experience supporting procurement or sourcing activities.Experience reviewing specifications, pricing information, purchase orders, or related documentation.Experience coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support business or project needs.Experience managing multiple assignments or priorities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.What Will Put You AheadExperience reading and deciphering civil/structural drawings to validate against BOMExperience working in Oil & Gas or Construction industryExperience creating and processing purchase orders within an ERP systemAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
