Summary
We currently have opportunities for experienced, self-determined, and highly motivated SIU FIELD INVESTIGATORS that would like to join our team of professionals in our efforts to deter and combat insurance fraud. We have several work from home, part-time and full-time hourly positions available in our rapidly expanding Special Investigations Unit. This hybrid style position that requires travel within the advertised city and state.VRC is seeking qualified candidates to conduct multi-line insurance investigations suspected of insurance fraud or other irregularities as requested by our clients by obtaining in-person interviews; identifying, collecting and preserving relevant evidence and documenting all findings into a clear, concise and timely investigative report. SIU investigates auto, property, Workers' Compensation, and liability claims of varying complexity in which specific indicators have been identified; and coordinates with law enforcement and / or the state fraud bureaus for regulatory compliance and criminal prosecutions.A Minimum Of 5-10 Years Of Experience As aThe successful candidate will have related experience in one or more of the following areas:Private Investigator / SIU InvestigatorClaims AdjusterLaw EnforcementMilitary Police / CIDOr other related investigative fieldsCore Duties & ResponsibilitiesAbility to investigate multiple insurance lines of business for potential fraudConduct phone or in-person recorded statements with insureds, claimants, and witnessesProvide daily updates regarding current filesConduct scene investigationsObtain investigative photographsMaintain and report investigative expensesCompletes detailed and accurate investigative reportsApplicants Must Meet The Following RequirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to analyze information, develop logical questions and accurately report findingsProficiency in Microsoft Office programsExcellent time management skillsA customer service focusA strong desire to learn and work as a teamBe willing to travelPossess a valid driver's license and provide MVRCurrent Private Investigator license may be required in some statesMust pass a drug test, and pre-employment testingUpon hiring, paid formal training is provided.BenefitsNecessary equipmentComparable pay to include drive timeAbove normal commute mileage reimbursementCompany paid licensing fees in most statesAllowance for non-reimbursed business expensesMedical benefitsDental benefitsVision benefitsDisability benefitsPaid vacation401K/Profit Sharing retirement planCompensationVRC employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis.
