POLICE DEPARTMENT FULL-TIME
CUMBERLAND TOWNSHIP

Cumberland Township, Adams County, PA., is accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Cadet. This is a non-civil service position, but subject to competitive examination. Candidates offered employment must be at least 21 years of age prior to graduation from MPOETC academy, not currently Act 120 certified, must successfully pass all required examinations (including but not limited to psychological testing, medical examination, and background check). High School diploma or equivalency certificate is required, along with valid motor vehicle license. Police Cadets and out of state applicants must be able to acquire Act 120 Certification within a specified time defined in a conditional offer of employment.

Completed applications must be received by 2pm on September 18, 2026, and may be dropped off during the same hours or emailed to dblocher@cumberlandtwppa.gov
