Must be able to obtain a SIDA airport badge and to pass a pre‑employment drug screen including THC.Benefits Insurance – health, dental and life401(k) retirement plan with company matchEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee discountsCompetitive wagesFlexible scheduleCareer advancement and mentorship opportunitiesOn‑job training$300 referral bonus – unlimitedPosition Overview As a Ramp Agent, you will work as part of a team delivering safe and efficient aircraft services, providing the highest level of customer service, and keeping passenger and aircraft moving safely and on time.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Properly and safely load and unload freight, including building up and breaking down cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines.Hold equipment certifications and operate equipment safely.Obtain proper security documents for all shipments.Verify upon receipt from customer shipment pieces, weight, dimensions and airworthiness.Verify upon delivery to customer shipment pieces and airway bill numbers.Required Skills and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Maintain and treat all information as confidential.Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives.Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English; must be able to verbally direct in English.A valid driver's license is required.Work Environment Warehouse – physically strenuous; prolonged periods of standing, exposure to noise, potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment.Outdoor – prolonged periods of standing, exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes and noise, in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles.Physical Demands Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.Must be able to speak and hear efficiently.Able to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds at times.Ability to climb ladders of up to 15 feet in height.Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling.The Inland Group of Companies maintains a drug‑free workplace and, as such, all candidates and employees can expect to participate in our drug testing program.#J-18808-Ljbffr
