Some materials will be prepared for transfer to the Hoover Institution Library & Archives at Stanford University. Other materials will be placed into a new, accessible filing system for ongoing work.Responsibilities include:Organizing and labeling boxes, folders and documentsCreating a clear inventory of the collectionIdentifying which materials have already been scannedMatching physical documents with digital filesFlagging duplicates, missing items and questions for reviewPreparing selected materials for transfer to StanfordSetting up retained materials in a practical, easy-to-use filing systemIdentifying and organizing materials that help tell the story, influence and key learnings of Dr. Perlman's work and the Mega-Cities ProjectAn organizational framework and clear decision guidelines will be provided. No materials will be discarded without approval.Archival, library science, records management, museum, historical research or similar experience is preferred. Graduate students and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.This is an on-site, flexible, part-time position in Nyack, NY.
