Garver is seeking a Project Manager to serve as the River Valley Municipal Leader and join our growing Transportation Team in Fort Smith or Conway, Arkansas, continuing our tradition of reputable service to clients.ResponsibilitiesProject managementSub‑consultant coordinationProject/task schedulingCivil designPlan production oversightPreparing cost estimatesClient interaction and developmentGeometric design for roadwaysDrainage designConstruction sequencing and traffic controlUtility relocation coordinationMarketing activities such as assisting in the production of proposals, letters of interest, and participation in interviews and presentations.RequirementsBachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited programLicensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)Eight to fifteen years of relevant experiencePractical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD)Experience with MicroStation, Geopak or InRoads and/or other roadway design softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong working knowledge of MS OfficePreferred SkillsPrevious experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on transportation projects3D Design experienceLicensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arkansas, or the ability to obtain reciprocity within three months of hireEqual Employment Opportunity StatementGarver is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees.
