Contract AnalystSarasota County is looking for a Contract Analyst who is responsible for supervising staff and managing all aspects of contract responsibilities in the Public Works Department for Transportation and Field Services. You will act as a liaison between the Public Works Business Office and Procurement. Collaboration is key in this position. Apply today!Job Description:Act as Administrative Agent on all Transportation and Field Service Contracts.Assist the Contract Manager to plan all future contractual services, agreements, quick quotes, pre-qualified bids, cooperative purchases, and work assignments.Manage a business unit program/work team and budget; monitor unit/program outcomesEstablish performance measures; coach/counsel/develop direct reportsAssist with development of preventative maintenance plans and schedulesDevelop/implement program policies, procedures and/or job requirementsIdentify/address operational issues; assist with quality assurance/controlManage/review/write/prepare grants, contracts and/or RFP'sConduct program/project/job cost analysis and generates reportsProcure materials and services; coordinates external resources/vendorsMonitor/adjust job plans as needed; facilitate internal/external trainingsEnsure compliance of regulatory/county principles, policies, practicesBuild strong internal relationships and community partnershipsIdentify trends and/or problems through statistical analysis and prepare complex/statistical reports and presentationsPresent to the BCC and/or external groupsHours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.About You:Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Planning, Industrial/Engineering Technology and two (2) years job-related experience OR Six (6) years professional job-related experience can be substituted at management discretion for the required education OR Related professional program / project management may substitute for the required education at management discretion.Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Office products.
