Job SummaryResponsible for greeting patrons, collecting admission fees, and proving general information at a City of Bryan swimming pool facility.
Essential Job Functions
- Greets patrons as they enter the facility.
- Accepts admission fees and operates a cash register to receive money and provide change to patrons; accounts for all existing working cash assigned and revenues generated during scheduled shift.
- Processes course registrations, pool reservations, and pool passes.
- Provides information to patrons at the facility and on the phone.
- Communicates and enforces pool rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner to patrons.
- Records and processes course registrations, pool reservations, passes, and daily admission fees.
- Completes all required reports and records accurately and on schedule, and submits/deposits such records to the proper person or office.
- Responds quickly to all emergency situations as needed.
- Facilitates the timely and effective resolution of patron complaints.
- Maintains a clean and neat work area.
- Continually practices safe work habits and alerts management about safety and other workplace concerns.
- Responds quickly to all emergency situations as needed.
- Reports for duty at the times specified and ensures a high standard of personal presentation and appearance is maintained at all times.
- Observes and advises about all rules and regulations of the facility.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Preferred:
Some work experience dealing with the public and/or experience managing a cash drawer.
