Summary
Starting Rate of Pay: $ 28.08 per hour
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Work with Security Ops Center Agents on all day-to-day activities related to the job.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with Security Ops Center Agents, conduct daily briefings and end-of-shift reports, review incident logs for accuracy
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for incident response, documentation and escalation
- Act as first point of escalation for complex or high-priority incidents
- Monitor perimeter detection systems, voice-down technology, gate and visitor management platforms and alerting systems
- Monitor social media platforms for threats to employees/assets and initiate response as deemed necessary according to policy and procedure
- Coordinate with appropriate defined employees, leadership, departments and external agencies during emergencies
- Assist field security to support investigations by researching and providing information and timelines
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) plus three (3) years' of administrative support experience
- Experience in security related area, preferred
- Good interpersonal, time management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task
- Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Must complete required training and obtain certifications
- Knowledge of incident management systems and reporting tools, preferred
- Proficiency with security technologies (VMS, access control, visitor management, mass notification systems), preferred
- Experience with workplace violence and/or corporate security investigations, and compliance standards, preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Some travel may be required
- Weekend on-call rotation may be required
