Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity to support the U.S. Navy's OPNAV Organization at N98 (Air Warfare). Synchron is looking for a Navy Acquisition Analyst to help support the program management and transition from JCIDS to the Navy Requirements Manual and Joint Forces Requirements Process (JFRP) for the OPNAV Requirements Branch.Responsibilities Assist the OPNAV Requirements Branch with the training of OPNAV Action Officers about their roles and responsibilities regarding capability requirements and the accurate identification of those requirements to ensure adequate solutions are provided to the warfighter in a timely manner.Assist in all areas needed to communicate the responsibilities for developing, managing, and updating of Navy requirements through the Navy Requirements Process and JFRP.Assist in keeping up to date and apprised of acquisition changes from policy makers (military and civilian), reviewing regulatory changes, reviewing data from professional publications, and ensuring current and credible information is communicated throughout the OPNAV staff as it pertains to Navy requirements.Education and Experience Requirements 10 years of professional experience, with 5 years of specific DoW / DoD acquisition experience or active Navy fleet experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.Active DoD SECRET clearance.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products.Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with JCIDS is a strength. Any current experience with post-JCIDS acquisition processes is preferred.Experience writing prior DoD / DoW acquisition documents or participating in the previous JCIDS process (CONOPS, KPPs, R3B, Gate Reviews, etc.) is preferred.Work Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA.
