Summary

Position Title: Technician III, EM QC

Work Location: Gainesville, GA 30501

Assignment Duration: 4+ Months

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM -4:30 PM; May occasionally require 2nd shift work 3:00 PM -11:30 PM

Hours: 40 hours/week

Note: Possibility of the assignment to be converted to a full-time role

Position Summary:
  • Environmental Monitoring Quality Control Technician: To perform, maintain and train on analytical techniques and methods for Environmental Monitoring Quality Control testing
Key Responsibilities:
  • Microbial sampling in production areas
  • Microbial enumeration
  • Microbial Identification
  • Water Sampling and Monitoring
  • Documentation and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
Qualification & Experience:
  • Laboratory experience
  • Exposure to aseptic technique
  • Ability to work individually and in a group setting
  • Ability to schedule self
  • Communicates effectively to share data
  • Values compliance and data integrity
Education:
  • Associates degree from an accredited institution with two to three (2-3) years of experience, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with one to two (1-2) years of related laboratory experience preferred
