Job Title: Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) Lead
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (Some Saturdays may be required)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking qualified Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) Lead to support a secure federal construction project in Virginia Beach, VA. The CST Lead will oversee daily CST operations, provide guidance to surveillance personnel, monitor construction activities, and serve as the alternate Site Security Manager when required.

Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance required.

Main Duties:

• Lead and supervise CST personnel.
• Assign daily work schedules and coverage areas.
• Monitor construction activities within secure areas.
• Inspect materials, tools, and equipment entering the site.
• Escort and monitor uncleared personnel.
• Review CST reports and inspection logs.
• Identify and report security concerns or violations.
• Assist with implementation of the Construction Security Plan.
• Serve as acting Site Security Manager when required.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance.
• 5 years of security experience.
• 2 years of ICD 705 construction surveillance experience.
• Current CST Certification.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and schedules.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
