Job Position: Part Time Crossing Guard.

Shift: Split Shift Schedule, Monday through Friday every school day

Job Summary: As a Crossing Guard, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of pedestrians, especially students, as they cross designated intersections on their way to and from school. You will play a crucial role in traffic control, providing a secure environment for individuals to navigate roadways. Job Responsibilities:

1. Pedestrian Safety:

• Safely guide students and pedestrians across designated crosswalks, ensuring they reach the other side of the road safely.
• Monitor and control vehicular traffic to facilitate the safe passage of pedestrians.
• Use appropriate signals and signage to direct traffic and pedestrians during crossing times.

1. Traffic Control:

• Observe and analyze traffic patterns to determine optimal times for pedestrians to cross.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or traffic control authorities when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure cooperation and compliance with crossing regulations.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State and federal Background checks required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and moving quickly if necessary.
