Dispatcher - Commercial Mechanical ContractorWe are currently seeking an individual to join our growing team as a Commercial Mechanical Dispatcher. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Main Job Responsibilities:Dispatches union technicians based on degree of work difficulty, location and current level of performance:Creates work schedule for field and on-call schedules for technicians.Coordinates with Service/Operations Manager regarding daily dispatch of technicians.Quoting HVAC and plumbing repairs and replacementsParticipates in training and ensures quick, accurate dispatch on incoming maintenance & work orders.Ensures customer awareness of scheduling and technician arrival timeShop trips reduced – procure materials and equipmentSourcing and PurchasingResponsible for monitoring and distributing service calls in a timely mannerSchedules service calls based on site location and job lengthVerifies accuracy of call information prior to dispatchingResponds to customer requests, resolving issues and promote the brandSupport the bidding, project managers, supervisor and field teams team in executing their duties with administrative and co-ordination between team membersProvide support and assistance with setting up new maintenance agreement customers, coordinate first serviceProvide administrative job costing coordination with accountingProvide liaison between field technicians, sales and engineering functionsAcquire and maintain permits, licenses and project documentation for service projectsManagement of databases and CRM systemsParts running where required to jobs (as needed), or returning parts for creditRepresentation and participation in maintenance and service project bidsTime Card approval and validation of field team hoursDaily job audit and invoicing for work completed or rescheduling when work is not completeAssist in onboarding and training new technicians or support staffFleet maintenance and reportingManage field uniformsManage field devices such as cell phones, tablets, and laptopsSchedule service requests for office needsAdditional duties or assistance as requiredOther Requirements:Understanding of commercial HVAC service and preventative maintenanceUnderstanding of commercial Plumbing serviceExperience in work order or dispatching softwareWrite reports and business correspondenceProblem solvingProficiency of Microsoft Office productsValid driver's licenseProfessional appearanceStrong interpersonal skills, achievement oriented, self-motivated, and organizedEducation and Experience Required:Bachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredAt least three years of related to commercial HVAC and or mechanical experience requiredOr an equivalent combination of both education and experienceValid Washington State drivers license with good driving recordBenefits offeredPaid Time Off (PTO)We are a drug-free workplace and equal opportunity employer.
