Ready Mix Order Taker - ShipperGFT Ready Mix is a rapidly growing, family-run business founded in 1999, built on a team-oriented culture and supportive atmosphere. We are seeking an experienced Ready Mix Order Taker - Shipper who is responsible for order taking and shipping to facilitate the deployment of our goods and services. Prior ready mix dispatching experience preferred.Location: 100% on-sitePhoenix, AZ 85043Schedule: MondaySaturday availability, typically 7:00 AM4:00 PM. Hours may vary based on business needs.Why work for GFT Ready Mix?Weekly pay.100% employer-paid employee medical coverage, including Telehealth.Paid training.Full benefits available within 45 days of employment, or sooner.100% employer-paid basic life insurance.100% employer-paid short-term disability.Employee discount program.Voluntary dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, and supplemental benefits.401(k) with employer match.Company profit sharing.Job DutiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Taking orders from customers via Command Series Software, input orders into the system as they are requested and help assist customers in identifying proper products needed for specific end uses.Complete order intake and assist customers in identifying proper products needed for specific end uses.Print tickets and ship orders using the Command System for plants.Constantly review schedules and customer orders throughout the day to anticipate business trucking demands.Complete required daily reports.Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsReady mix industry experience preferred.Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center, dispatching, or similar environment.Previous dispatch software experience preferred.Computer literacy required including but not limited to Microsoft office products and the ability to type 40+ WPM.Ability to work independently, make decisions, and manage changing priorities while providing excellent customer service to both our customers and our drivers.Strong knowledge of Phoenix and surrounding areas.Ability to work weekends as needed.Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.Command Alkon Series software experience a plus.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check in accordance with applicable law.GFT Ready Mix is an equal opportunity employer.
