Enforce solid waste and animal control laws; investigate complaints and issue penalties

Ensure cleanup of illegal dumping and research property ownership

Maintain case records, reports, and documentation

Provide customer service, compliance guidance, and community education

Capture and humanely manage stray or dangerous animals; respond to animal bites

Coordinate outreach efforts, rabies clinics, and interdepartmental enforcement

Perform other assigned duties

Graduation from high school and three years of experience in law enforcement work including two years as an Animal Control Officer or, an equivalent combination of training and experience. Valid Driver's License required.

Criminal records check, drug screen, and references will be required for the successful candidate. All applications will be considered but not necessarily interviewed. Resume in lieu of a completed application will not be accepted. Diplomas and degrees must be received from accredited institutions.
