Key Responsibilities
- Case Preparation: Gathering evidence, reviewing files, conducting legal research, and interviewing witnesses.
- Court Appearances: Experienced in arguing motions, selecting jurors, and delivering opening/closing statements.
- Litigation Strategy: Experienced in Developing compelling narratives, examining and cross-examining witnesses, and anticipating opposing counsel's moves.
- Client Advocacy: Advising clients on legal strategies, negotiating settlements, and protecting client rights.
- Administrative Work: Filing legal documents, preparing scheduling orders, and maintaining case records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and a state bar license.
- Communication: Excellent public speaking, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical Ability: Strong legal research and critical thinking skills to analyze complex cases.
- Experience: 3-5 years trial experience with jury and bench trials.
