Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior SOC Security Engineer will balance real-time incident response with proactive application security initiatives, leading efforts in monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents while collaborating with engineering teams to enhance application security.Key responsibilitiesMonitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents across enterprise environmentsLead incident response efforts for application, identity, and software supply chain security eventsPerform proactive threat hunting and develop new detection use cases for emerging threatsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)7+ years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, or Application SecurityExperience working in a 24x7 SOC environment with off-hours support responsibilitiesIndustry certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CSSLP, GIAC, or similar are highly preferred
