Quality Inspector - Industrial Equipment Manufacturing
Flowtec is partnered with a well-established manufacturing company specializing in engineered equipment for marine, offshore, and industrial markets. This Quality Inspector role covers incoming, in-process, and final inspection across machining, assembly, and repair operations, with excellent work-life balance in a streamlined environment. Onsite in Northern New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection: Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of precision machined components and pump assemblies
- Dimensional inspection using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indicators
- Program and operate CMM equipment for complex part verification
- Complete first article inspections on new and repaired components
Quality Systems & Documentation:
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T
- Maintain inspection records within the ISO quality system
- Write non-conformance reports and support root cause and corrective action
- Support government source inspections and customer audits
- Maintain the gauge calibration program
Cross-Functional Work:
- Work with machinists, assemblers, and engineering to resolve quality issues
- Support disposition of non-conforming material
- Perform receiving inspection on supplier parts
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of quality inspection in a precision machining or manufacturing environment
- CMM experience (programming strongly preferred)
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency
- Hands-on with precision measurement instruments
- Experience working within ISO 9001 quality systems; military or government spec experience a plus
- Pump or rotating equipment component experience preferred
- Comfortable in a machine shop environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- Up to $40/hour, based on experience
