MIH Dispatcher

Mobile Integrated Healthcare Dispatcher Mercy Flights is seeking a customer-focused and highly organized Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) Dispatcher to support our growing MIH program. In this role, you will serve as the communication hub for patients, field providers, hospitals, crisis teams, and community partners while coordinating MIH resources and ensuring timely, efficient service delivery.What You'll DoReceive referrals and coordinate patient access to MIH servicesConduct structured triage and determine appropriate care pathwaysDispatch and monitor MIH units in real timeCoordinate with EMS, healthcare providers, and community partnersMaintain accurate documentation and operational recordsSupport patient-centered care through compassionate, professional communicationWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredOne year of experience in a high-volume customer service, call center, healthcare coordination, or related environmentStrong communication, multitasking, and critical thinking skillsAbility to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced settingExperience in dispatch, EMS, healthcare, public safety communications, or Mobile Integrated Healthcare is preferredCertificationsEmergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) certification required within 6 months of hireDPSST Certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher required within 12 months of hireCPR and First Aid certification required within 6 months of hireCore Values: Mercy Flights is committed to serving with Community, Compassion, Service, Teamwork, and Excellence in all we do.Mercy Flights is a drug free workplace and follows federal guidelines set by the United States Department of Labor to provide a safe and drug-free work environment.Mercy Flights is an Equal Opportunity Employer
