Surveillance Officer
Position: Surveillance Officer Reports to: Lead Surveillance
The Surveillance Officer protects company assets and possesses knowledge of clandestine surveillance operations.
Function and responsibilities:
- Maintains surveillance on designated areas and activities.
- Records and reports daily any irregular and/or illegal gaming activity.
- Operates all surveillance equipment including but not limited to computer monitors, controllers and cameras as assigned.
- Provides CCTV and personal observations of all departments and applicable job functions to assure that all company policies and procedures are met with compliance.
- Daily log any equipment in need of repair and pass on information to the Surveillance Tech.
- Consistently adheres to and supports departmental policies on conflict of interest and confidentiality.
- Communicates effectively intra/extra departmentally.
- Immediately acknowledges an officer in need of help.
- Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Maintain all required daily logs.
After 90 Day Probationary Period
- Broad knowledge of casino rules, procedures and administration.
- Familiarity with camera equipment and method of operation and recording.
- Knowledge of identification of cheating methods and other related activities.
Authority and Supervisory Capacity:
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to accomplish the above functions and responsibilities.
Access to Sensitive Areas:
- Surveillance Monitor Room
Signatory Authority:
- Incident Reports
- Property Receipts
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check to obtain a Category I license.
- Must be willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays and overtime.
- Must be available to be on call.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must work well in close proximity with others.
- Professional appearance.
- Native American preference.
