We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dispatcher to oversee daily dispatch operations, driver compliance, fleet maintenance scheduling, and transportation safety programs. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient deliveries, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service while supporting our Transport, Bobtail, and Flatbed operations.
Please note: The anticipated hours for this shift are Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 pm - 3:30 am
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and coordinate daily Transport, Bobtail, and Flatbed deliveries.
- Schedule fleet maintenance, cargo tank certifications, DOT physicals, and drug screenings.
- Monitor driver logs and compliance requirements.
- Conduct new-hire safety training, road tests, and annual safety ride-alongs.
- Maintain driver software, compliance records, and regulatory documentation.
- Review invoices and support transportation administration.
- Participate in after-hours/on-call rotation as assigned.
- Ensure safe, efficient operations and excellent customer service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of dispatch, logistics, transportation, or related experience.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and data entry skills.
- Knowledge of DOT, safety, and transportation compliance is a plus.
Pay for this position is $30-38 per hour DOE
