Test Technician (Req.#) in McKinney, TX

(1st shift pay rate: $24.28/ Hr. on W2)

(2nd shift pay rate: $27.19/Hr. on W2)

(3rd shift pay rate: $27.21/ Hr. on W2)

We are seeking Acceptance Test Technicians for their Advanced Product Center (APC) in McKinney, TX. These positions offer a contract-to-hire opportunity with a work schedule, encompassing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. (training on 1st shift) These positions are ideal for individuals with a strong technical background seeking to contribute to national defense initiatives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct acceptance testing on production and development/prototype products.

Utilize hand tools, torque tools, analyzers, and power tools for testing procedures.

Interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed work instructions.

Operate and set up test equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Input part information into the Factory Operating System (FOS) and document non-conformances.

Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Perform rework and in-process inspections as needed.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent 2-year post-high school training).

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Experience in a manufacturing, microelectronics, aerospace, or defense environment is preferred.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Basic computer and math skills.

Experience with robotic equipment, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) equipment, or high-voltage testing is a plus.
