Scale Operator/Dispatcher

Role and Responsibilities
- Take aggregate orders and handle customer inquiries regarding products for various sites
- Answer phones and route calls in support of commercial aggregate sales and operations
- Generate and communicate sales orders as needed to scale personnel and finance department
- Reconcile, correct, and upload aggregate tickets for commercial aggregate sites
- Generate, communicate, and route pricing as needed to customers
- Weigh and ticket incoming and outgoing truck loads
- Print tickets and handle customer issues during sale process
- Perform general clerical duties or other record keeping as required
- Provide administrative support to the Site Managers and quarry staff
- Handle cash transactions and process cash deposit slips.
- Administer site-specific training or information as needed
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
- Willingness and ability to work every other Saturday
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multi-task required
- Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments when scaling
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- Strong computer skills, especially with Office programs, and the ability to learn proprietary systems as well
- Prior experience working with dispatching or scales (preferred)
- Prior experience working in customer service and cash-handling roles (preferred)
- Must be self-directed and motivated (preferred)
