Role Purpose

This role is responsible for unloading and loading luggage, freight, and cargo on and off commercial aircraft, in the outbound bag room and the baggage claim area. Driving and operating small specialized commercial vehicles. Position requires heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching and frequent kneeling. Adheres to all standards, procedures ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by following established procedures and protocols.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What you will be doing:

  • On-load and off-load baggage manually or mechanically, in accordance with the relevant training received.
  • Gather, input and process all data and documentation necessary for the fulfilment of the success of the operation, by manual, automated or computerized systems, including weather reporting.
  • Undertake all relevant baggage sortation duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Carry out area hazard checks.
  • Carry out Head-set duties, including communication with the flight deck, in accordance with the relevant training received.

What we are looking for:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Possess and maintains valid US driver's license
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
  • Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
  • Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
