By combining operational expertise with technology, data, and AI, we are transforming every aspect of the customer journey and providing a smarter, more flexible alternative to buying or leasing a car.Position OverviewThe Loss Prevention Safety Specialist is responsible for supporting asset protection, security operations, and safety compliance across the local market. This role partners closely with Operations, Service, and Customer Care teams to safeguard company assets, manage access controls, and respond to security-related incidents.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Operations, Service, and Customer Care regarding customer lost property claimsMaintain accurate records for intake, release, and disposition of lost propertyTrack and document access to controlled and restricted areasIssue and maintain employee badging and monitor access control systemsReview CCTV footage and support security investigationsInstall and troubleshoot telematics devices across fleet assetsMaintain and audit ignition key inventoryObserve workplace activity and respond to escalated or critical situationsFollow all company safety and security proceduresMinimum Qualifications2+ years of experience in law enforcement, military, security, or technical trade environmentsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and basic computer skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededValid driver's license with acceptable driving record (per company standards)Must be at least 18 years of agePhysical Requirements (FEHA-Compliant)Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and computersAbility to work in indoor and outdoor environmentsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsFlexcar will provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.Compensation Transparency (California - SB 1162)The hourly pay range for this position in California is $27.00 - $29.00 per hour .This range reflects the reasonably expected pay range for this role in California.
