Duties

You will collaborate with firefighter personnel to ensure emergency responses (e.g., fire suppression, injured victims, hazardous spill cleanup) are assigned.

You will coordinate placement of firefighting equipment or other resources during emergencies.

You will coordinate with officers on other shifts and stations to ensure work accomplishment, training, and priorities are met.

You will identify hazards that require modification to a fire prevention or fire protection program.

You will identify, collect, and interpret hazards of known and unknown hazardous materials involved.

You will use medical equipment (e.g., semi-automatic defibrillation device, cervical spine collars, back boards, hydraulic rescue tools) in providing emergency services.
