Position OverviewJunior Program Analyst – Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) – Onsite: Clarksburg, WV. Secret Clearance Required, Sponsorship Available. As a Jr. Program Analyst, you will play a crucial role in determining a person's eligibility to possess firearms or explosives in accordance with federal law, supporting the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the accuracy of all processing and research in accordance with federally published guidelines.Conduct research on explosives permit checks and analyze information for validity.Run criminal background checks as part of the Firearm Transactions, Explosives Permits, and various other background checks.Report any point-of-contact changes to the appropriate personnel.Communicate with law enforcement agencies via fax, e‑mail, or phone and document communications.Evaluate existing procedures and provide recommended actions or solutions.Complete necessary document clean‑up of existing records to update and/or purge documentation as needed.Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.Attention to detail, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Chrome.Active Security Clearance – Secret.Ability to work multiple shifts including nights, weekends, and all holidays except Christmas.FLSA: ExemptWe offer a competitive salary and paid time off including 11 government holidays.EEO is the Law – Transparency Non‑Discrimination Provision – English_formattedESQA508c.pdfWe endorse the accommodations for individuals with disabilities or as disabled veterans.
